About Jewells Fine Art Festivals
At Jewell’s Fine Art Festivals guests will find a diverse collection of fine art and fine craft. Our outdoor festivals in the Tucson area generally run on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm and feature a variety of oil paintings, watercolors, acrylics, pastels, pencil art, photography, and mixed media, as well as, sculptures in glass, metal, bronze, and stone. Other artists craft hand-thrown clay, raku pottery, creative woodwork, leather, fiber, and fine jewelry.
About the Founder
Sandi Jewell started in the art industry as a fine art photographer participating in art shows in the 80’s and early 90’s. Dissatisfied with the quality of shows in the Tucson area, she decided to promote her first juried Fine Art Festival in November 1997 at the Plaza Palomino shopping center in Tucson. This event led to several other festivals in Tucson and even expanded into the Phoenix market.
After Sandi passed away in May 2012, her daughter Chandra continued the tradition of promoting quality Fine Art Festivals around Tucson. Every Sandi Jewell Fine Art Festival attracts patrons who appreciate quality artwork and meeting talented artists.
